Lightech was granted the ISO 27001:2005 Certification for its “Remote Monitoring and Threat Management Service provided to the Client by the Security Operation Center (SOC)."

(Buenos Aires, October 14, 2009) – Lightech, a leading company in the integration of Information Security and Application Delivery Networks Solutions, has obtained the ISO 27001:2005 Certification, pursuant to the Information Security Management System (ISMS), for its “Remote Monitoring and Threat Management Service provided to the Client by the Security Operation Center (SOC)".

After being audited by the System Certification Center of TÜV Rheinland Argentina S.A. Lightech certifies the ISO 27001 standard, the only international rule that guarantees the selection of suitable security controls to set up, operate, supervise, maintain and improve an ISMS.

We offer the client, through our Security Operation Center (SOC), a remote monitoring service and management of availability and threats during 24 hours a day and throughout the year. The ISO/IEC 27001 certifies this area, which depends on the Service Management Department, in three key matters of IT security: availability, integrity and confidentiality. And this makes the interested parties, especially clients, trust us.

TÜV Rheinland was in charge of the Certification process in two specific stages which involved the revision of the whole security, the corresponding risk analysis and the documentation related to the Information Security Management System. At the same time, the processes, procedures and documents of data protection were formalized. The periodic evaluations, internal and external, uninterruptedly supervise and validate the performance and the improvement in accordance with the system rule. Nowadays, Lightech provides Remote Security Monitoring Services in Argentina to companies such as Santander Río, Claro and Edenor, and also in Mexico to ING Seguros and AXA.
